Hey Digital Communicators, I’m John Falke from Johnny Flash Productions and Amplified Impact, and this is 101 Ways to Attract More Visitors, a practical guide for churches to amplify their impact and reach their communities. Now let’s amp it up.
Number 28. Tighten your branding. Now when I’m talking about your branding I’m talking about all aspects of your brand right. So obviously there’s your church website. There’s your social media accounts. There’s the signage that maybe outside your church or inside your church, there are print materials that maybe your church puts out. Your church brand is in many forms and its important that they’re consistent.Do people recognize your brand across all of your different communication channels? @johnfalke Click To Tweet
So let me give you an example, the team at my church does a really good job I think of making their brand consistent. Here you can see some signs outside their building they have read it says Expectation Church, their social media graphics will work in the red color so that you can kind of recognize it that way.
In the connection area kind of the first time visitor area, they’ve got a wall painted red so that kind of ties in the church brand there. When they were doing the Christmas Eve services, they had these signs that they offered for people to put in their yard to let their neighbors know about the Christmas Eve services. You can see their red here.
They’ve got volunteers with red t-shirts. So they just really consistent with the color and the theming so that when you see their materials, when you see their online presence, when you see different things from them you kind of recognize oh yeah that’s Expectation Church. So you want to tighten your church brand so that everything that your church is putting out is recognizable as coming from your church.
In the next video going to show you how to make seats available at prime time and how that’s going to help you attract more visitors to your church. Until then amp it up.
