Number 38 make the worship service consistent. Now if you want people to invite their friends, not only do you need to give them a preview like we talked about in the last video, but you need to have it be experience be consistent from week to week.

So what I mean by that is if your pastor is out of town, you need to make sure that the sermon and the preaching is still good. You don’t want to have a mediocre sermon given because then people are going to like oh I don’t know if the pastors are going to be you know out of town or not this weekend. I don’t know if I should invite my friend. Or maybe when your worship leader is gone then you have kind of like the worship leader who’s not that great and people kind of cringe on the inside when they’re leading worship but they’re too nice to say anything about how this guy just really isn’t that great at leading worship or he is awkward or whatever.

So you need to make sure that your worship service is consistent from week to week. That doesn’t mean you can’t change things up doesn’t mean you can’t surprise them every once in a while but you want the experience to be consistently good and of similar quality and comfortableness so that people know they can invite their friends on any given week.

If your pastor’s gone then people shouldn’t be worried about oh the message isn’t going to be that great. They know that the pastor is going to find a great fill in person who’s going to be as good or maybe even a better communicator than the lead pastor and then they’ll be willing to invite their friends any weekend.
